What a downer!

I am halfway through Glass and keep waiting for something remotely positive to occur in this girl's life. How much of this depression is from the rape and how much is the result of her own basic nature? The persona of "Bree" does not appear to have surfaced as a result of the drugs, but as a result of some deeply submerged aspect of her true self.

Well, I will keep reading.

CLC to meet wednesday, December 5 @ lunch

hi everyone, we will be meeting tomorrow, 12/5/07 @ lunch. i know that not everyone was able to read the book but let's meet anyway. we can talk about what we have read and discuss other CLC "stuff". i'm more than halfway throught the book and Kristina is letting Bree get her into all kinds of trouble. so far, i'm thinking Crank was a little better than Glass. i'll be interested to hear what those of you who read both books think.
